Q) HOW DO I SEE DEALS OR DELIVERY/TAKE-AWAY SERVICES?

A) Firstly make sure you are on the home page. You should see a map or list of deals. If not, please click on the top right hand menu button and select HOME. At the lower left of the map or list view, there is a toggle button that allows you to switch between deals (gift box icon), and deliveries (motor bike icon). You can see deals or deliveries on the map or list view.

Q) HOW DO I VIEW DEALS/DELIVERIES ON A MAP OR LIST

A) On the main home page, the top left hand button will toggle you between a map view and a list view.

Q) HOW DO I SELECT DEALS/DELIVERIES FROM LIST VIEW?

A) Simply click on the deal or delivery you want for more information.

Q) HOW DO I SELECT A DEAL OR DELIVERIES FROM MAP VIEW?

A) Click on the icons and a menu will pop up from the bottom, simply click on the deal in the list for more information.

Q) HOW DO I ZOOM OUT ON THE MAP?

A) Touch the screen on the map page with two fingers (a finger and thumb is easiest), whilst still touching the screen, move your fingers apart to zoom in, or together to zoom out.

Q) HOW DO I MOVE THE MAP AROUND

A) Simply use your finger on the screen to move around on the map.

Q) HOW DO I SEE WHERE I AM ON THE MAP?

A) Your location is shown as an icon of a person. If you cannot see the person, simply press the target button on the bottom left of the map. This should centralise the map to your location.

Q) HOW DO I JUST SEE DEALS THAT I LIKE?

A) Click on the heart button (FAVORITES) to view your favourite things. If you did not define these when you registered, you can add or change them from the main menu on the top right hand side, select FAVORITE INTERESTS. Simply click on the things you like. Items are selected when dark blue. You can turn them off by touching them again to make them green. There is also a menu on the bottom that allows you to only select clubs, restaurant, bars, shops or activities. Simply click on the things you like. Items are selected when dark blue. Q) WHY CAN'T I SEE ALL THE DEALS?

A) You may have the heart icon at the top right of the map or list view page selected. If this button is blue, its means it will only show your favourite things. You can click on it to turn it off so you can see all deals. There is also a menu on the bottom that allows you to only select clubs, restaurant, bars, shops or activities. Simply click on the things you like. Items are selected when dark blue. You can turn them off by touching them again to make them green.

Q) WHAT IS A HOT DEAL?

A) Hot deals are our top favourite deals that offer superb value for money or are very limited exclusive offers. Hot deals go fast, so ensure you buy them quickly to avoid disappointment!

Q) HOW DO I REDEEM THE DEALS I HAVE BOUGHT OR SAVED FOR IN-STORE PURCHASE?

A) Tap on the top right menu and select on MY DEALS, Purchased, In-Store and Used Deals can be views on separate tabs. Select the deal and click on the redeem button and show this screen to the business, who will scan this unique code for you.

Q) IS MY DEAL GUARANTEED IF I CHOOSE TO PAY IN-STORE?

A) No. Unless a deal is paid for in advance, your deal is not guaranteed until it is collected or used and paid for.

Q) HOW DO I SEE MY DELIVERIES OR TAKEAWAYS

A) Tap on the top right menu and select on MY DELIVERIES, you can see the status of your order for all deliveries there. Click on the ‘i’ button to see more information about your delivery or take-away order.

Q) HOW DO I SEARCH FOR SPECIFIC PLACES OR BUSINESSES

A) There is a white search box on the top of the map or list screen pages, click in the white box and type whatever you are searching for and click on the search button on the bottom right of your keyboard. In Map View, businesses will be shown on the map as icons. When searching in List View more information on businesses deals can be viewed when searching.

Q) I AM GETTING TOO MANY NOTIFICATIONS

A) To ensure you only get deal messages you like, click on the top right hand menu button and click on FAVOURITE INTERESTS. Here you can define the things you are interested in and will generally only be sent messages about these types of deals. Blabdog also learns which deals you really like and the ones you don’t, so the longer you use Blabdog, the more relevant the deals will become to you. You can choose to turn off push messages completely in your general phone settings, however you may then miss out on new deals.

Q) MY PHONE KEEPS BARKING

A) When you get a new deal notification, Blabdog barks to let you know. You can chose to turn off the sound when you get a notification by going to your phone settings, selecting Blabdog, then NOTIFICATIONS and turn off sound.

Q) I AM NOT GETTING ANY MESSAGES

A) You are either not in an area with any deals near to you, or on registration you selected not to allow push messages. In this case you would need to go into your phones settings, click on Blabdog and then NOTIFICATIONS and ensure it is set to ALLOW NOTIFICATIONS.

Q) WHAT ARE REWARD BONES AND HOW DO YOU EARN THEM?

A) Some deals will offer reward Bones, these are Blabdog’s loyalty rewards. The more deals you enjoy, the more reward Bones you will earn. You will be able to purchase some deals for various amounts of Bones, which will be shown on any deal that accepts them. Not all businesses accept reward bones.

Q) WHAT IS THE VALUE OF A REWARD BONE?

A) A Reward Bone has no set monetary value and is not redeemable for cash.

Q) HOW DO YOU USE REWARD BONES?

A) Any deal that can be purchased with Reward Bones will show that option in the deal page at the top under the photo of the deal.

Q) CAN I PAY WITH PART REWARD BONES AND PART PAYMENT

A) No. You need to have enough Reward Bones for the entire deal in order to use them.

Q) HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY REWARD BONES I HAVE?

A) You can see your Reward Bones Status on the top left of the main map or deal pages. You can also see your reward Bones via the top right hand menu, select MY PROFILE and you will be able to see your reward Bones status.

Q) CAN YOU BUY REWARD BONES?

A) Not currently, you can only earn reward bones as you buy or use deals.

Q) HOW LONG WILL MY REWARD BONES LAST FOR?

A) Your reward bones will last forever, unless of course you use them to purchase things!

Q) LOCATION SERVICES

A) When you register, Blabdog will ask you if its OK to switch location services on, if you choose not to, you may have to go to your phone settings, selecting Blabdog, then LOCATION SERVICES and make sure they are switched on. Alternatively, you may need to check location services in your phones privacy settings are turned on in order to fully utilise Blabdog.

Q) WHERE IS MY DATA STORED AND IS IT SECURE?

A) Blabdog uses a secured global cloud infrastructure to run its servers. The data transfer between the app and the server is secured using encrypted protocols. All payments made through the app are on secured servers.

Q) CAN I USE BLABDOG WITHOUT BEING ONLINE?

A) You will not be able to see new deals, or receive messages, but you will be able to access deals and deliveries you have already purchased or ordered in order to redeem them. You will also be able to view any deal or delivery pages you previously viewed when you were previously online.

Q) WHAT DATA CHARGES WILL I RECEIVE FOR USING BLABDOG ON MY PHONE.

A) Like any online phone usage, it would depend on the contract you have with your phone service provider and the amount of time you spend online. New laws on European data roaming mean there shouldn’t be any nasty surprises on your phone bill if you are travelling within the EU. If you are concerned, please check with your phone service provider as to what roaming or local charges you may be applied for data roaming in your location.

Q) DO YOU SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH OTHER PEOPLE?

A) Blabdog takes your privacy very seriously. We only share relevant data with companies that you have ordered deals, deliveries or made reservations with so they can handle your requests. Those companies will hold your contact details and may contact you to confirm your reservations/deals and possibly in the future, however you can always chose to unsubscribe from any communications with them in the future.

Q) WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE OR BREAK MY PHONE?

A) You can reinstall Blabdog and login to your account on another phone but you must have an active SIM card with your original phone number in the new phone. All your purchased deals, deliveries and profile details will be restored. If you are unable to replace your phone or get a replacement SIM card with your original number, please contact [email protected] or +34 971 415 058 and they may be able to refund any purchase you are unable to redeem due to loss or theft of phone or alternatively send you emails or call the venue on your behalf so you can redeem your purchases.

Q) WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PHONE IS STOLEN?

A) Always ensure your phone has a password lock, so in the case of theft, your account cannot be used. If your phone is stolen and is not secured with a password lock, please contact [email protected] or +34 971 415 058 and we will endeavour to block your account for you as soon as possible. You should also contact your bank to ensure additional purchases are not made through any apps that might have your payment details. You should always report your phone theft to the police as soon as possible.
